Third Eye Readings - Elisabeth Lowe

Elisabeth Lowe has been a clairvoyant for the last 15 years.  up until now Elisabeth was working the normal 9-5, and decided that 2011 was her year to focus on her readings full time.  Elisabeth contacted DC-Design and the ball was rolling.  Elisabeth wanted a reasonably minimalist site with an appointment booking feature as the main priority.

DC-Design also made enquiries on Elisabeth's behalf with regards to 1900 and 1300 numbers for payment of over the telephone readings.  If you haven't looked into the costs associated with these and you are a new business owner - make sure you are sitting down when they tell you the price.  Obviously the biggest proportion came with processing credit card payment of just a fixed cost per minute.  Nevertheless Elisabeth needed to be able to do telephone readings to allow expanded clientele to be able to obtain readings from her no matter where they are located.

The result was a fully automated booking system that was linked to a paypal account.  This ensured that customers wishing to book a telephone reading could pre-pay via paypal.  Obviously personal readings could be paid in person or by paypal also.  This was a happy medium and was affordable for Elisabeth in the startup phase of her business.

The booking page of the website has an admin area where Elisabeth can view, add, and or delete upcoming appointments and keep an online calendar up to date for her business.  Custom emails are automatically sent to both Elisabeth and the client upon a booking request - also payment updates from paypal are linked to the booking component and to Elisabeth via email.
