Mitacogifts is a retail and wholesale distributor/importer of unique gifts offering an ever-expanding range of quality products to individuals and professionals all over the world.  DC-Design was chosen to develop a website that would showcase their product lineup utilising the same eCommerce engine that was used for their Mitaco Lifting site.

 

One of the major tasks was to revamp the customers old logo.  As is the case of a lot of designers - the original master design files were not handed over initially, and as such the timing was right to revamp the logo in time for the launch of the new website.

DC-Design supplied an eye catching design that portrays the message that it is always the right time to give a gift.  Utilising the same eCommerce engine, the team at Mitacogifts was able to add in the majority of products - once again keeping costs down.  

Other features include custom email invoicing branded for Mitacogifts, flash product showcase, fully automated and a custom Australia Post small parcel shipping calculator integrated into the checkout.  Other features included lightbox large image viewing, javascript instant checkout, and extra paypal payment addon.
